RLR Leadership Consulting is proud to announce Shawna Russell will be joining the RLR Team of Experts effective July 1, 2023. "Shawna has played an instrumental role in supporting RLR behind the scenes for several years. Now, we get to have Shawna share her talents, experience, and tools with our clients," says Randy Russell, RLR Founder and President.

Shawna has 28 years of teaching experience ranging from 6th thru12th grade. She has taught in a multitude of diverse socio-economic schools. Alongside teaching, she has coached many sports encouraging and mentoring young people to reach their full potential in whatever sport or program they choose to participate.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in health education, a master’s degree in Secondary Education, an Administrative Credential and Career and Technical Education Credential. During the last 17 years she has focused on helping staff develop a positive climate and culture in the buildings she has worked in.

We all know that working in a school is difficult and taxing. With more and more added to staff member's plates, pressures of outside factors and stress to make it work for kids, the morale at schools is at an all-time low. Shawna has enhanced the sunshine program at those schools and has grown it into a positive, caring, uplifting program that supports staff and meets them where they are. Shawna will help you and your staff implement strategies and training to assist and support an atmosphere of respect, value, and encouragement for the important work educators do.
