Celebrating Our 2026 Graduates and New Beginnings

May and June are seasons of celebration. Across the country, gymnasiums, stadiums, college campuses, and community centers are filled with proud families, excited graduates, and a sense of accomplishment that comes from years of hard work, perseverance, and growth. Graduation represents far more than a diploma or degree—it symbolizes commitment, resilience, learning, and the courage to step into what comes next.

This year, graduation feels especially meaningful in our family. We are celebrating our son, Ryan, as he graduates from college, marking the completion of another important chapter in his educational journey. We are also celebrating our daughter, Rylee, as she graduates from high school and prepares to begin the next exciting phase of her life. Watching young adults reach these milestones brings tremendous pride and gratitude. Behind every graduate are countless teachers, mentors, coaches, family members, and friends who helped encourage, challenge, and support them along the way.

As I reflect on their accomplishments, I am reminded that graduation is not limited to students. Many dedicated educators and school employees are also graduating into a new season of life through retirement. After years—often decades—of service to students, staff, and communities, retirees leave behind a legacy that cannot be measured by years alone. Their impact lives on through the lives they have touched, the relationships they have built, and the opportunities they have created for others. Retirement is not an ending; it is a commencement of a new chapter filled with possibilities, adventures, family, and well-deserved time to pursue passions and interests.

And on a personal note, this graduation season includes one more graduate. After spending 55 years either attending school or working in schools, I, too, am graduating. Education has been more than a profession—it has been a calling, my purpose. The students, staff, families, colleagues, and friends encountered along the way have shaped who I am and have made this journey incredibly rewarding. While this graduation may not come with a cap and gown, it carries the same feelings of reflection, gratitude, excitement, and anticipation for what lies ahead.

As we celebrate graduates of all ages and stages, we are reminded that life is filled with transitions. Every ending creates a new beginning. Every accomplishment opens the door to another opportunity. Whether you are receiving a diploma, earning a degree, retiring after a distinguished career, or simply preparing for your next chapter, take time to celebrate the journey that brought you here and the people who helped along the way.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026, to our college graduates, to our retirees, and to everyone embarking on a new adventure. Your hard work, dedication, and perseverance have made a difference, and your future remains bright with possibility.

One Superintendent shared, "When we engaged RLR for the strategic planning process, I had high expectations and they exceeded every one of them. Their facilitation was thoughtful, well-structured, and deeply focused on authentic community engagement. Randy and Erich really integrated themselves into our community, as they successfully brought together diverse voices from across our district, creating a shared vision which I believe reflects our students, families, staff and partners. The result was not only a strong strategic plan, but a renewed trust, clarity, and agreement on our path forward. I highly recommend their work to any district seeking a strategic planning partner which reflects your community."

Who's In Your Inner Circle?

Who's In Your Inner Circle?
RLR Leadership Consulting and The CORE Project

Think about the people closest to you. The ones you share ideas with, lean on for support, and let influence your decisions. That group—your inner circle—shapes how you see yourself, the choices you make, and even the risks you’re willing to take.

Sometimes, those relationships give you energy and push you forward. Other times, they hold you back. That’s why RLR Leadership Consulting and The CORE Project have teamed up to create Your Inner Circle—an opportunity to pause, reflect, and intentionally shape the connections that matter most.

In this experience, you’ll:

  • Identify who truly belongs in your circle

  • Learn how to set healthy boundaries when needed

  • Build trust that actually lasts

  • Choose connections that make you stronger

Because the truth is, leadership isn’t just about strategy or skills—it’s about people. And the people closest to you can either empower your growth or limit your potential.

We’d love for you to join us. As a special opportunity, use code Randy15 for a discounted price—but hurry, this offer won’t last long.
